Another round of potions on me
Metroid (Pixel art by Robin Wouters)
I did this a while back, because:
A) I love pixel art
B) Nintendo refuses to give us another 2D metroid sidescroller. I’ve been yearning for one for over a decade now :(
All assets were done from scratch, and it’s done in pixel perfect resolution for a top 3DS screen(I’ve tried porting the image to my 3DS to see how it would look but the system software makes that near…impossible)
Shin Megami tensei IV reimagined as a battle scene in breath of fire four.
Posting a WIP of a pixel art I’m currently doing. inbetween projects
Just a little bit more push and I can finally wrap this up.
I’ll prolly animate this too if I have the fuel still.
Another Darkest Dungeon warm down, this time the Plague Doctor, who should watch out with her potions…!
I’m glad humans evolved to Boop the Snoot for Good Luck.
Gollum’s lowkey adoreable tbh i would like to keep him as a pet❤️
The passer-through-walls (Le Passe-muraille) sculpture in the Paris Catacombs.
some french guy: you know what would be fucked up to see in the catacombs

1984’s XL-1, Quest for the Heartstone. The module was a tie-in with the LJN toy line introduced the previous year. Reviews of the module described it as a poorly written marketing gimmick, which it was, but you get all the stats of characters like Warduke, Strongheart, and Kelek, which is pretty cool!
1983’s AC-1, The Shady Dragon Inn, also had most of the same characters but with slightly different stats. To name the two most prominent characters, Strongheart has Int 9 (instead of 12), Dex 12 (instead of 11), and Con 11 (instead of 9) in AC-1; and Warduke has Con of 8 (!) instead of 14.
And then Warduke’s 3e version just went entirely off the rails. (3e Warduke is an 18th level Fighter with attribute scores of Str 32, Dex 16, Con 28, Int 13, Wis 15, and Cha 20).
